Justin Stapley is an avid outdoorsman, firearm enthusiast, and writer. He has been writing politically since 2016 and has expanded his writing into outdoor recreation including recreational shooting, hunting, fishing, as well as self-defense.

Justin is a liberty-minded conservative. His principles and beliefs are grounded in the idea of ordered liberty as expressed in the traditions of classical liberalism, federalism, and modern conservatism. After a season as an unaffiliated voter, Justin is now once more a registered Republican and committed to helping forge a principled post-Trump path for conservative ideals and values within the party of Lincoln. 

Justin is the owner and editor of The Liberty Hawk, a political opinion and commentary publication on Medium. He is also writes the weekly Self-Evident newsletter (with occasional podcast episodes).

Justin is an undergraduate student at Utah Valley University with focuses in political theory and constitutional law. He is also employed by Utah Valley University as a Research Assistant at the Center for Constitutional Studies. 

Justin lives under the western skies of the Wasatch Range with his wife and two daughters.
